Green Paper on SEN & Disability

10 March 2011

Green Paper on Special Educational Needs and Disability

In its Green Paper published yesterday the Government set out plans to tackle the serious issue of bullying of children with SEN and disabilities including a commitment to "work with the Anti-Bullying Alliance to share best practice that will help teachers identify those pupils who are disabled or have SEN and are at risk of bullying, and to tackle this effectively where it arises."  The Green Paper and consultation documents are available on the DfE website. The consultation on the proposals is open until 30 June.

The outcomes of the ABA SEN/D project to establish effective practice in this area are available on the ABA website
